John S. Taylor papers : letters, 1859-1866.

Collection consists of four love letters written to Clarinda Conley by John S. Taylor. The letters range in date from Dec. 30, 1859, to Dec. 31, 1866. The last letter is an apparant apology for not "conducting myself as a man and paid my respects to you as I had a chance to do and not fooled with other younger ladies ..."
